Common Issues
Notifications not working
- iOS: You must install as a PWA through Safari for notification support.
- Permission denied: Enable notifications in your browser or device settings.
- No test notification: Check your internet connection and try again.
Login problems
- Make sure you're signing in with the correct Google account.
- Clear your browser cache if you're experiencing persistent issues.
- Contact your game moderator for access help.
Missing clues or messages
- Use the refresh button to check for new content.
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
- Try signing out and back in if problems persist.
Performance issues
- Install as a PWA for better performance (see below).
- Close other browser tabs to free up memory.
- Clear browser cache if the app feels slow.
Install as App
Installing as a Progressive Web App gives you the best experience — background notifications, faster loading, and a home screen icon.
Chrome / Edge
Look for the install icon in the address bar, or use the menu and select “Install.” Works on desktop and Android.
Safari (iOS / Mac)
Tap the Share button, then select “Add to Home Screen” and confirm. This is the only way to install on iOS.
iOS users: use Safari
Chrome, Firefox, and other browsers on iOS cannot install PWAs — this is an Apple restriction. Open the game in Safari to install it as an app.
